Annual Poker Run “Ride for the Children”
New Jersey Chapter 10
Description:
East Brunswick, New Jersey
Registration is between 8am and 10 am at the Center 18
Plaza/Burger King parking lot, Route 18 North (just south of
Rues Lane/across from ACURA/Seville Diner). Riders will
enjoy a 60 mile scenic ride with check points at neighboring
fire companies.
Cost: $20 per bike and $10 for passenger. Includes
coffee/donuts at registration, end of the ride
food/beverages, 50/50 and prizes for Best Hands.
Proceeds from the run benefit the Red Knights Annual
"Christmas in July" ride to Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's
Hospital, RWJUH, New Brunswick, NJ.

5th ANNUAL 9/11
REMEMBRANCE RIDE
“A RIDE
TO REMEMBER”
Description: The 5th Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ride
will be held at the Worlds Fair Park in Knoxville,
Tennessee. Registration begins at 8:00 A.M. and ceremony at
10:28 A.M. The short ceremony will be followed by a light
lunch at the park and a ride approximately 70 miles long.
Entertainment and more food will follow at the end of the
ride at Coyote Joe’s. Each bike will be asked again this
year to carry a picture and bio of each of the Firefighters,
Police officers, Port Authority and EMS personnel killed on
that tragic day, lest we forget their name and faces.
This
ride, hosted by the Blue Knights and Red Knights is a fund
raising event for two charities. The Red Knights
(firefighters) will donate all their proceeds to
Andersonville Volunteer Fire Department, of Anderson County
and the Blue Knights (police officers) will donate their
proceeds to the BLUE KNIGHTS COPSRUN, which offers ongoing
assistance and support to the families of fallen police
officers. The COPSRUN motto is, "They will never stand
alone", reminds us that no survivors will be forgotten.

Annual TOMA “Ride for Burned Kids”
Description:
Proceeds from the TOMA Ride for
Burned Kids go directly to the TOMA Foundation for Burned
Children and will help defray the costs of pressure
garments, ergo-therapeutic masks, silicone and gel pads and
splints for these young burn survivors. Last year $11,495.53
was raised during the ride. Registration cost is $40 which
includes a commemorative pewter lapel pin and lunch. The
registration fee will be waived for donations totaling $100
or more.
