Greetings from RKMC Indiana 11,

Red Knights Motorcycle Club Indiana Chapter XI is proud to announce that charter member Stephanie Hart has been chosen to be in the 2012 America’s Female Firefighters Calendar.America’s Female Firefighters mission is to raise money through calendar sales for burn survivor’s organizations. The “calendar girls” make appearances at fire fighting events such as Fire-Rescue International and FDIC, just to name a few.

We were hoping the International Red Knights Firefighters Motorcycle Club would be interested in this. Also maybe place this on the website? I attached photos and a letter about Stephanie. Also there are local newspapers that have done stories on Stephanie, which I left the link to them on the bottom of this email. I've also attached photos of Stephanie with her and her husband John took.

Stephanie, who is a firefighter paramedic with the Valparaiso Fire Department, was one of 12 females chosen nationally. She had to first get permission from her chief and her union (Stephanie is VP of Valparaiso Fire Fighters L1124 IAFF) before submitting the application along with photos and a short video. It wasn’t long after that she received the good news that she would be in the calendar. “I was extremely honored and humbled to be chosen.” Stephanie says.

Stephanie’s passion for burn victims doesn’t end with the calendar. Stephanie was a camp counselor at this year’s Hoosier Burn Camp. Hoosier Burn Camp is a camp where Indiana children can attend, and as their motto states, “Just be one of the kids.” Hoosier Burn Camp has also been a major recipient of donations from Red Knights Motorcycle Club Indiana 11. This year the Red Knights participated in a ride to the burn camp visitor’s day and had nearly 30 bikes in attendance.Stephanie spends time riding on her Suzuki M50 with her husband John and Father Bob McKinley, who are also club members. Both John and Bob say they are very proud of Stephanie and support her 100%.

Red Knights Motorcycle Club Indiana 11 is looking forward to helping Stephanie sell the Calendars that benefit burn victims. We are hoping to help her sell them around the local area, across the country, and possibly around the world with the help of the Red Knights International Firefighters Motorcycle Club.

For information on America’s Female Firefighters and how to purchase the 2012 calendar, visit www.americasfemalefirefighters.com or contact Stephanie’s email just for calendar sales at vfdchick@gmail.com.
